Community

Family, Friends, and Neighbors

Being an active part of the communities we serve is part of everyday life at AurGroup. Whether teaching financial education in our local schools, serving local charities, or offering partnership opportunities, it’s who we are. We believe in giving back, getting involved, and supporting those around us. Coming this summer, a gift to our communities, a new space for connection and education.

Scholarships

Education is at the core of AurGroup’s history. Founded in 1934 by teachers, we celebrate and support our local schools and students whenever possible. This includes offering scholarships to high school seniors pursuing a 4-year degree or certification for a skilled trade.

Credit union membership is required for all scholarships except for the Skilled Trade Scholarship.

Check out the scholarship application to learn about qualifications and deadlines.

In Our Community

AurGroup is proud to support the communities it serves by giving back. Our version of giving back might be hosting a food drive for local food banks, collecting school supplies, and providing 120+ backpacks for kids or making donations. We celebrate the Credit Union philosophy of “people helping people” every day.

In Our Schools

We are passionate about being an active partner in our communities. One of our main areas of focus is our local schools. Founded, in part, by teachers, we are committed to promoting financial education and fun wherever we can.

You’ll often find us teaching banking basics in Hamilton, Fairfield and Butler Tech High Schools. This includes working directly with students on budgeting, credit building and responsible banking. We host an ATM at each of these schools as well. We also know that the habit of saving starts early so we partner with elementary schools, too.

And, we don’t just teach kids. Adults can learn a thing or two, as well. If you’d like us to visit your employer/business to offer financial education, credit building, home buying seminars, just give us a call at (513) 942-4422.
